Toyota Develops Greener Flower

I’ve made it known in the past how I feel about the Prius, namely in Why Hybrids Are Bad, but today they may, just may, be dropping a little bit on my bad list.  How?  Well, Toyota, probably more for marketing than anything else, has genetically engineered a new species of flowers that they plan on planting near their plants focused on Prius manufacturing.  What’s so magical about these flowers?  Well, they take nitrogen oxide/dioxide out of the air, and spit out water vapor.  The result is two fold.  First, less greenhouse gases.  Second, the water vapor has a cooling effect in the area around the plant, which then translates into less power usage for cooling.
